Refunds and returns policy 

If you have changed your mind about any purchase or your goods are faulty, returning online orders to Beales is free of charge. We offer an exchange or full refund within 28 days for in-store purchases and goods received within 35 days for online purchases only - allowing for up to 7 days return delivery. 

See ‘Products excluded from the returns and refund policy’ below for details of items excluded from the above policy. 

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if your purchases are not returned in a saleable condition or have been damaged. 

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy with regards to faulty goods or those that are misdescribed on our website. Neither are your rights to cancel under distance selling consumer protection regulations. 

Lost or didn’t receive a returns form? 

If you have lost or did not receive your returns form please email customerservices@beales.co.uk for a replacement.

The following are your options for returning your order.

 Beales

  • Return your items to your local store
  • For items purchased instore or online
  • Free returns
  • Refund within 4 working days

 Parcelforce

  • Please email customerservices@beales.co.uk and we will send you a postage paid label
  • Drop off your items at your local Post Office or Parcelforce depot
  • For items purchased online
  • Free returns for parcels under 5kg and 61cm x 46cm x 46cm
  • Refund within 4 working days

Some important information about returns

Returning items that are on sale.

You can return sale items with the timescales outlined above in ‘General information about returns and refunds’ with proof of purchase or a receipt for items bought in-store or online.

Returning items without proof of purchase.

What is a proof of purchase:

  1. In-store receipts
  2. Online receipts
  3. Order confirmation emails
  4. Delivery notes

If you bought your product in-store:

You can return your item but you will only be eligible to exchange your items for other goods available in-store. Good returned must have Beales sales tags intact – items that are not identifiable as being sold in Beales (if they can be purchased elsewhere) will not be eligible for exchange.

If you bought your product online:

You can return items purchased online if you return them packaged with a copy of your order confirmation, with the original packaging and tags intact. If you do not have any proof of purchase you will not be eligible for exchange or return.

Returning items using your online receipt.

Either print your online receipt or bring the email along when you come in for a return or refund as proof of purchase.

Goods purchased with a gift card.

If you have made a purchase using a gift card (in-store only) your refund will be credited to a gift card or you will be issued gift vouchers to the same value, when returned with proof of purchase.

Items purchased in-store.

You may only return or exchange items purchased in-store to a Beales store.

Tracking returns online.

At this time, you cannot track returns online. You will receive an email to notify you that your return has been received and a refund is underway.

Love rewards points.

Any Love rewards points awarded with a purchase will be reclaimed by Beales upon any refund or exchange.

Products excluded from the returns and refund policy.

The following products are not eligible for a refund:

For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange or refund the following:

  • Cosmetics and fragrances that have been opened (unless they are faulty)
  • And bedding products (including duvets, bed spreads and pillows) that have been opened or if the original packaging has been damaged unless the good are faulty.
  • Unless the goods are faulty we cannot refund any gift food, products containing alcohol, any swimwear, lingerie, hosiery or control wear (unless hygiene strips and tags are still intact and the packing is undamaged)

The following products are also ineligible for a refund:

  • Gift cards
  • Any items returned without any proof of purchase that are also sold at another retailer. In this case an exchange or gift card may be offered to the value of our current price.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy with regards to faulty goods or those that are misdescribed on our website. Neither are your rights to cancel under distance selling consumer protection regulations.
